Dallas Jazz Piano Society at their newest location is promoting, preserving & perpetuating piano jazz music! They have invited myself and two outstanding women to present our show to the public. Women in Music - Women In Song featuring women composers, lyricists and the women who made songs famous!
We are; Carolyn Lee Jones (vocals), Mahogany The Artist and Jeanie Perkins ( both piano and vocals ). Our supporting rhythm section is Steven Heffner on bass and John Bryant on drums. A donation at the door or on-line is invaluable but not required. The program for the evening is being underwritten tonight by Judy Watson and is free to the public. All proceeds support the non profit Keys For Kids providing keyboards for underserved youth. TWO MUSIC SETS with a short intermission and refreshments.
